Using iMessage, Facetime, iCloud

One of the great features of living within the Apple ecosystem is how the devices work so well together. This symbiotic relationship between products extends to text messaging, with iMessage allowing you to send a free text message to anyone with an iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch. To get iMessage working, you'll need to set up an Apple ID first.

Creating an Apple ID

  1. Visit this URL and register for an ID using your Kids Email account: https://appleid.apple.com/cgi-bin/WebObjects/MyAppleId.woa/wa/createAppleId

  3. Open the email from Apple and click on the link to verify your new Apple ID.
