Make an option to add a phone number in contacts
Make it easier to recive texts
0 votesEvery phone number actually has an e-mail address associated with it. If you enter that in your contacts you can send text that way. Here is an article that may explain this a little better:

Make the Android and iTunes Apps ad-free
Since we already pay for the email service and use this to protect our children on-line, could you make the Android and iTunes apps for the kids to access their mail ad-free? I would even be willing to pay another small fee (in the low single dollars) to upgrade to an ad-free app. Thanks
1 voteThere are no ads, this was confusion that the app says “in app purchases” that is simply referring to the fact you can purchase Kids Email through the app, but only through the parent portal.

Bigger Email Window
The mail reading window is quite small on an ipad mini. If somebody sends photos in the body of an email you can only see a very small part of the image. There appears to be plenty of space to stretch the window for better viewing, even to increase the size of the text.

Have notifications for the kids email app
When you get an email you will hear an alert tone.

Save all deleted emails to parental account
This would allow parents to view any emails that were deleted. For parents who don't want to receive a copy of every email incoming and outgoing from three different children, this would allow them to see any possible inappropriate email that the child deleted to hide from Mom.
1 voteThis is actually already a feature. Kids can delete messages, but can’t empty the trash or view deleted items. Parents can login to the parent login and login to the child account, once they are logged into the parent account and then the child account you can click on “Sent Folder” and view the deleted items in there. If you need help finding this, please let me know. (I can be reached directly at brittany.oler@kidsemail.org)

Update your app!
There are also some glitches. Example: on the app, if you click on the parent login button, you can access the child safety settings by entering a random password.

move buttons to the top of Mail Queue Alert email.
Many times I am familiar with the person or company emailing my child and can approve them quicker if the buttons are at the top. Maybe if you have the approve/approve and add to contacts/deny buttons at top AND bottom it would make it faster for either scenario. Thanks

Allow option for iWork attachments
I noticed the option to allow Microsoft Office file (.doc, .xls & . ppt) attachments. We use iWork on all our Mac computers and devices. Would you consider an option to allow iWork file attachments (pages, numbers & keynote)

Improve the look and functionality of the email interface
I hope you'll consider putting similar time and energy into the email interface to what you've put into your promotional site and login pages. Your initial sell inspires confidence and an expectation of quality, but the actual product itself is unimpressive. Being a graphic and web/UI designer, I might be more sensitive these things than most, but it seems like the priorities were backwards on this one. Hopefully this is welcome critique, and maybe you've even thought of all this already and are hard at work on Kids Email 2.0 Beta!
I don't plan on cancelling my trial, the program…
3 votesThis has been completed. We have on our radar to eventually change up the Kids Email inbox look as well. The parent login and set-up now is all finished.

Make The iOS app iOS 7 compatible.
I suggest you make the iOS app iOS 7 compatible so it will look better and not look old. Also with the new iOS 7 it doesn't work very well.

To be able to transfer a contact from the siblings to the general contact list, if I make a mistake. Or delete it from there.
Right now, if you add a contact in the sibling list, it cannot be delete. Therefore, if I make a mistake, I cannot correct it. In the enter/edit window, it would be nice to chose the group right there as we enter the contact.
2 votesRight now if you login to the parent account and click on Manage Contacts on the left side of the page it will pull up all the contacts. You can edit or delete all contacts there, let me know if that helps.
