We realize this is not the same thing, however we have decided not to provide access to our mail servers, so pop, smtp, and/or imap access will not be provided as this time.
Our apologies,
BrittanyWe are SUPER excited to share that you can now use Kids Email with iMessage, Facetime, iCloud on iPhones, and iPods! Check out the instructions here!

Have notifications for the kids email app
When you get an email you will hear an alert tone.
46 votesThis should be working now on our new app. iOS is now in stores, Android will be available in the next few days.

Allow email in other language or alphabet
Some families are bilingual, and for instance if the father only communicates in a language that requires cyrillic letters, he is unable to communicate with his child.
20 votesKids Email now supports most languages. Please test Kids Email and if your language does not work, e-mail me directly and we will get this fixed for you.

move buttons to the top of Mail Queue Alert email.
Many times I am familiar with the person or company emailing my child and can approve them quicker if the buttons are at the top. Maybe if you have the approve/approve and add to contacts/deny buttons at top AND bottom it would make it faster for either scenario. Thanks
9 votesThis should be working better now. If you have any trouble please let us know.

Alter existing app to allow parents to view and manage all emails for every child with an account at a glance.
I like the app, but I'd live it to be more user friendly so that I, the parent, can manage my kids' accounts at a glance from my smartphone. I.e delete inappropriate messages.

Show short-cut names for email addresses in the address book
On the ipad app, the address book that comes up when you are addressing an email only shows email addresses, not the person's actual name. Very confusing for the little ones.
7 votesNames should be showing up in the iOS app now instead of just the e-mail address. If you don’t see the change please make sure to get our most updated app. Thanks!

Create a dedicated iPad app
The iPhone app does work on the iPad, but it is "clunky". A dedicated app would make the iPad kidsemail experience much better.

Put name of sender/recipient in Subject line of any emails copied to me
When my child receives an email, I get a copy of that email, and the subject line of that copy just says, "Incoming email for (account name)". I would like the name and or address of the sender to be put in the Subject line, so that I can quickly see who sent the email.

filter sent emails in the iOS app
In the iOS app I can type in any email address and send an email. It seems like the whole point of this service is to prevent kids from sending or receiving emails from someone not on their whitelist.
The iOS app should enforce this whitelist for sending emails.

Set the cursor to the beginning of textbox when replying to inbound emails via the iOS app.
When replying to an email via the iPhone app, move the incoming text down a few lines and set the cursor to the beginning of the text box, so the child can begin responding without adjusting the cursor position.

bigger buttons on app
the app on the kindle is hard for kids to use(age 7 & 9). needs bigger buttons and a yes or no option before they send an email. Also the contact list is twitchy.
Thank you3 votesWe just released a brand new Kindle App, it has bigger buttons on the app. Please check it out by updating your current app! Let us know how you like it!

Improve the look and functionality of the email interface
I hope you'll consider putting similar time and energy into the email interface to what you've put into your promotional site and login pages. Your initial sell inspires confidence and an expectation of quality, but the actual product itself is unimpressive. Being a graphic and web/UI designer, I might be more sensitive these things than most, but it seems like the priorities were backwards on this one. Hopefully this is welcome critique, and maybe you've even thought of all this already and are hard at work on Kids Email 2.0 Beta!
I don't plan on cancelling my trial, the program…
3 votesThis has been completed. We have on our radar to eventually change up the Kids Email inbox look as well. The parent login and set-up now is all finished.

Make The iOS app iOS 7 compatible.
I suggest you make the iOS app iOS 7 compatible so it will look better and not look old. Also with the new iOS 7 it doesn't work very well.
